Since listing this earlier today i have had a rethink on the pickup situation. So, I have decided to put the OX4 PAF's in it because I think it deserves them, so I have adjusted the price accordingly


Was going to list this a while back but thought I'd wait for the LS60 @Fortheloveofguitar had listed was sold.

42 year old 1981 MIJ LS50. In all round great condition for its 42 years, does have a few dings, nothing too horrible, see pics.
this belonged to my late brother, his favorite Les Paul over the 3 he owned. 
It plays great with a very low action, it has a Monty's wiring loom, the pickups are not original, my brother had a set of Sun Bears custom made for him, I cant sell those because they are personalized and I want to put them in one of my LP's.



So, it is now for sale with the OX4's installed

Lovely very dark Rosewood board and the frets have a ton of life left in them.
original brass saddled bridge, the pickup rings have the usual splits in them but I think I have a new set I will pop into the case.
the hard case is not that old and in great condition. Has the original "50" sticker on headstock, the serial number is all but invisible, my brother did have a picture of the back of the headstock taken with a black light which just about showed the number up, but I cant find the pic.
 I think he added the little pointers under the tone and volume controls, he always put these on his guitars.
