Etty Ket, selling stuff and help pricing

Hi, as a newbie I thought I'd ask about the etiquette around asking for help pricing and selling. One of the main reasons I joined here was to sell the equipment that my brother in law left after he died (mid 60s), for my sister in law, who needs the cash. It's not high end stuff, but I'd like to get a fair price for her whilst selling quickly. She knows absolutely nothing about music stuff, I don't know that much more, but I do play a little and I'm going back to learning (which is the other reason for joining here)

Without any history on the forum, I realise that rocking and selling stuff isn't exactly optimum, and asking for help setting prices may be a no-no?

When I come to list, I will obviously take as many photos and full descriptions, including any obvious faults etc. Should I put everything (Electric bass, amps, pedals, acoustics) into one thread, or separate into the categories? Any other advice welcome.
