Got a Carvin Nomad yesterday. Very nice. Reverb doesn’t work though. Will swap out valves and check for opens in the tank, etc. 

it has a Carvin VL12 - 100W, 8 Ohm speaker. 

Can I switch that for a Celestion V30 16 ohm?

i want to have the option to link it to a second Carvin 1x12 cab, and all mine are loaded with V30s.

Looks like it has switchable output impedance, so yeah, a 16 ohm speaker is fine.

If you're using it with an additional cab, then make sure that's 16 ohm too and swt the amp to 8 ohm.

Oh - weird - the manual says it’s loaded with V30s as stock. Mine’s definitely not! Anyway, that answers all my questions. Cheers RB!
