I know a few people who have found the brent mason as their "one" so there is hope for you. They think it's the best thing ever and have done for years, so I have hope.

That's quite a lot more expensive though and harder to sneak past the missus !

Sublimation is a wonderful thing (for me anyway…)

You could always...

• Drowned her out with the wall of amps. 
  
• Get them recovered in tolex that matches the room decor. 
  
• Tell her you'll be saving money on heating bills by warming your house with the beauty of inefficient thermionic goodness. 
  
• Make sure to have one Ampeg bass head that she can play through… and if she doesn't play bass… why doesn't she? She needs to know that women are at least 20% more attractive when playing bass. No that's not just me. 
  
• Buy a Mesa Cab Clone and she won't need to hear you at all. Headphones mean you won't need to hear her either. (probably the best bet)
• For every new outfit she buys you must have another amp head for the exact same reasons she needs a new outfit. 
• For every new pair of shoes she buys you must have another guitar cab for the exact same reasons she needs a new pair of shoes. ("…but my Vox amp needs an Alnico cab! They're so good together….")
