Mxr univibe. Any good?

Is the Mxr univibe a good pedal. Any advice would be welcome. Is there any more univibe type pedals around the same price range worth trying.

I've got the Hendrix 70th Anniversary one and I love it. AFAIK the same inside just the different black paint job on the standard one. 

Pedalboard friendly size and does a great "Machine Gun" impressions. I can get a bit lost in the mix with the band though without also going for a volume boost.

I should point out that I haven't got a lot of experience with other Univide style pedals, usually they're too big and expensive!
