Tech 21 Double Drive (and 3X)

I had one years ago that I really liked at the time. Swapped it ages back and kind of wish I still had one. Although I think that maybe the 3X might be a good shout as well.

Any thoughts on how they compare? I've check a few videos on YouTube, which leads me to suspect that some people should not upload videos to Youtube.

I remember having a Double Drive a few years back. I seem to recall it was pretty good, but I think I was going through a bit of a funny spell with pedals at that time, and took issue with some minor perceived flaw. It was something really trivial - I think the tone control had quite a narrow useable sweep for the sounds I was after, and for some reason that really annoyed me at the time. 

I'd probably really like it now. Oh well.

I looked into the 3X as it had an active 3 band EQ, but I don't think I got round to trying one. Let us know what you think it you take a punt!
