    It's from when he toured the "Paul Weller Movement." The line up is still basically The Style Council

    I remember seeing that Strat on the Into Tomorrow documentary. I thought at the time it was strange seeing him playing one.

  • He was propa on his arse when The Paul Weller Movement started.

    Lacking confidence and direction, but still something magical about those early small gigs. I saw him and Coventry, and spoke to John before the gig…

    He did anounce the band that night, and Weller (much to our dismay) did indeed play a Strat that night…

    I've seen him use a Strat in the 90s - can't remember the tune he used it for but I remember it having odd pickups (some black, some white). I seem to recall he played it fingerstyle...

    He probably still has it, knowing Mr W.
