I had one of these (Cornfords) when they first came out - fabulous amp and certainly not "odd compared to the big brands" and would give most a run for their money. GLWTS anyone who is in the market for a 50w amp could do a hell of a lot worse than one of these......

Ah yes, I could have used a better turn of phrase :-) I was thinking slightly unusual in terms of where to price it.

I'd agree they certainly don't sound odd. It sounds great, I just can't justify having such an amp for home use anymore.

Lovely amps those mk1’s They sound better than the MK2’s too IMHO - FVH -NOBODY can have too much gear!

I saw Aynsley Lister gig an MK50 and it was one of the best guitar sounds I've ever heard. If I had the money etc..

Confirmed sold which is great because I was able to donate the proceeds to Northern Lights Wildlife Rescue, Manitoba Black Bear Rescue, Bear With Us Canada, Killham Bear Centre, Grizzly Bear Foundation, AK Wildlife Alliance and White Rock Bear Shelter (Ukraine).

Couldn't have afforded these donations without selling this item which was just hanging around unused. Thanks Fretboard!

The Aracom is priceless by the way.

I would sooner not play with an attenuator but...
My Daughter and my Grandson have moved in long term and my missus and daughter are giving me massive amounts of earache about playing too loud when he is home.
My amps have good masters on them but to get the playing dynamic I like I still have to turn them up loud enough to acheive that dynamic and it's realistically way too loud for my grandson.
The Aracom is really good at preserving the playing dynamic at very very low volume. It turns my amps into really killer practice amps.
But... as soon as everyone goes out it's back to no attenuation and LET IT RIP... 

One bonus I discovered with the Aracom is using it with a Ceriatone Chupacabra that I have Modded. The Chupacabra is basically a Jose Arredondo Master volume variant with different levels of clipping, The most extreme clipping option has not really been to my liking so I normally use the lowest clipping option which is superb but... I tried the most extreme clipping option with the Aracom and cranked the Chupa and it sounds insane, very nice gained out 80's type tones with a really great playing feel. Very nice suprise indeed.
