Bit of a long shot, but just wondered if any of the Cambridgeshire members had an old bike they wanted to get rid of? I am looking elsewhere, but thought it was worth an ask on the off-chance...

I'm after something cheap (£20-30ish) and mostly functional; if it looks disastrous, then that would be perfect, as it needs to live at Cambridge station and actually be there every morning - the less attractive it is to our innumerable local bicycle-rehomers the better.

Ideally 26/27/28" wheels or thereabouts, and hopefully with mudguards (although I can probably get some fitted). If it could be something along the lines of this fabulous vintage classic, that would be splendid:
