Withdrawn: PRS DGT, McCarty Limited and McSoapy

Having a clearout to make way for a vintage guitar so the following is on the chopping block, from right to left:

First up is a first year/early 2008 DGT Goldtop with moons, excellent used condition for age given its 16years old,  with one minor mark . Has the Nitro top coat and smaller iveroid buttons. Stunning flamed maple top visible at the edges under the lovely vintage goldtop. Lovely dark chocolate coloured rosewood board. Dark back and neck. Nickel pickup covers are nicely ageing/tarnishing.strung with tens and plays/sounds wonderful. Comes with original case and tags etc. Looking for £2800

Second up is a first year 1994 McCarty Limited with moons, one of the first 100 ever made, signed and numbered by Ted McCarty himself. Stunning (pre)Ten flame top in the darker McCarty burst. vintage cherry red back and neck. Again in fabulous used condition with only the most minor of single marks bearing in mind its almost 30 years old. Lovely dark chocolate coloured rosewood board. Strung with tens and again plays and sounds wonderful. Comes with original case and tags etc Hard to price this one, ATB have one within a few digits of this one up for £5500ish. Was thinking a more reasonable £3800

Last up and possibly my favourite for its vintage inspired simplicity is a 1998 McCarty P90 Goldtop with moons aka a McSoapy. Stunning neck on this one, with a lovely redder East indian Rosewood board. Stunning flamed maple top visible at the edges under the lovely darker vintage goldtop. Lighter amber back in the vein of 50’s Gibson goldtop. Seymour Duncan factory P90’s. set up with tens. Some minor marks mainly on the back but nothing that breaks the finish, superb given its 25 years old. Comes with original case but no tags. Super feathereeight and resonant. Looking for £2000

I've got a 94 McCarty with a serial number that actually pre-dates the 'first' 100 signed ones.  Wonderful guitar.

I got to play one of those many years back. Still remember well what a fabulous playing and versatile guitar it was.
