So! I posted ages ago I loved Clapton's tweed tone when I saw cream at the Royal albert hall in 2005, just his strat into a cranked tweed and it sounded half rat distortion, half germanium fuzz, I loved that tone and someone else recently said they wanted that tone. I wanted a 1 watt tweed amp for bedroom use, I asked Dan for something that wasn't polite or chimey but sounded like your face was being dragged across concrete and when cranked the amp just sounded like it wanted to be allowed to die, Dan didn't disappoint! I asked for:
5F1 circuit
Relic Tweed cloth 1x8 cabinet
valve rectifier,
Speaker output (8 ohm)
22UF boost switch,
NFB Pot controlled with pot inline with stock resistor
3 knobs labelled Gain, Master, NFB
High quality caps and resistors,
Voiced for raw tweed gain

I could not be happier with the amp, it is the most responsive amp I own, With a strat with the volume maxed and bringing up the gain it has such a lush chimey sparkly strat sound and when you crank it it turns into a lovely distortion, it's like it has a pedal in front of it and when you nearly max the gain and flip the boost switch, you can just tell the amps had one pints too many and it turns into a spluttery fuzz sound.
With a tele the amount of twang and spank coming through the amp is incredible.
When you try p90's or mini humbuckers of humbuckers it thickens up the tone and and with my P90 R4 les paul it gave me the EXACT clapton tone I was after, it sounded like someone had put the germanium fuzz in front of it. With the speaker output you can try a 1x10 or 1x12 and give the amp a totally different flavour, more bass, more held together, not an inefficient speaker, you go from a boxier sound to a fuller sound.

I have 3 of Dan's amps now and I love collaborating with him and even if you want something that's a bit off the menu, he'll build whatever you can think of. I couldn't be happier.

That looks amazing - a distillation of what 5f1lovers looks for, with added refinements. HNAD!
