NAD: Rift Blackhawk

While testing some guitars I plugged into a used Rift Blackhawk the shop had, and ended up leaving the guitars and taking the amp home. It’s a great sounding well made amp very much like an AC30 but with a single 12 and a master volume. More gain than you might expect from an AC30 circuit. Despite that it’s very quiet in operation, when I first fired it up I had to double check it was on due to the lack of transformer hum.

Wow, beautiful amp. It's fun to stumble onto something like that. Go into the shop for one thing and leave with another.
