FS - £895.

My lovely Yamaha FG5 Acoustic Guitar. In lovely condition with only very light playwear.

Ready reamed out to accept a pickup of your choice.

The mahogany back and sides are paired with a premium Sitka spruce top which has been treated with our Acoustic Resonance Enhancement ('ARE') process for genuine aged-wood tone and sustain. A new scalloped-bracing design delivers plenty of volume and a natural, balanced acoustic tone.

The new FG Red Label guitars sound and feel like you've been playing them for years - right from the very first note.

  • 1960s aesthetics and modern craft, refined over 50+ years of Yamaha guitar development
  • New scalloped bracing patterns provide a warm, powerful tone with deep lows and rich harmonics
  • ARE treatment imparts the sound and sustain of aged wood
  • All-solid construction with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back ; sides
  • Ebony fingerboard & bridge

  • I got one of these new from the Yamaha shop. They really are good sounding guitars with a deep bass capability, and understated looks, possibly a serious rival to the Martin D18.

  • I have one as well.  For someone who played a few Yamahas back in the day it defintiely has that character but just really loud and responsive too.  You don't see that many around either.
