Feedback required...

Hi all -  been doing a bit of tweakery on a better dark mode, and I could do with a bit of feedback if anybody fancies being a beta tester.

If you'd like to head to your profile page and select "Night" from the dropdown at the bottom, you should see a very different tFB.

It's not perfect, but it's getting there...

NOTE: This is only for desktop browsers (or desktop mode), not the mobile layout. That's staying how it is, purely because mobile devices need as much contrast as they can get.

Yes and I got the 'changes have been saved' message.

It works for me, Android tablet running the Duck Duck Go browser.

It looks fairly cohesive to me.

Interesting - I'm mot in desktop mode but it still works.

I quite like the Night mode , better than the other dark mode , which just felt a bit drab and grey

Working fine in Safari and DuckDuckGo on Mac OS11.7.8

Cheers, guys. Take it for a test drive for a few days, see what you think.

I've already identified a bit of an issue with the profile/notification/inbox menus - they seem to have some weird problem of appearing underneath some page elements (like the ads, which is annoying, but also profile icons. Absolutely no idea why.

OK - just for a real beta, and I've no idea how this will be received...there's also "Night Wide" and "Night Full-Width" in there.

Basically, the world's moved on a lot since the original design, and screens are a hell of a lot wider than they used to be. Have a play...you might like it, you might not. My personal feeling is that full-width is great on my laptop, but unusable on my 27" monitor. Wide, however, is a pretty decent compromise.

'Night' works fine with Safari and DuckDuckGo on Mac OS 10.4.6
Previously being using Faded, might give this a go. Good effort  
Edit: back to Faded. Found the Night theme looks much cooler, but needed more concentration as all the screen information was 'flatter' & harder to separate content from background. I'll try again though as I like the look.

Yes, works for me and looks good. The yellow 'New' box is a bit sharp though, the white text is a bit washed out as a result.
