  • Either in the cab block, or you can out in another separate EQ block that just does the cuts.
    I think the High/Low cut EQ block cuts a bit more aggressively, maybe 24db per octave, compared to using the cuts on the cab block which I think cuts at 12db per octave. 

    No right or wrong way just that you get slightly different response with each so worth trying each to see what gives the response you want.

    Well, a few weeks in and I'm a total convert. Either with a power amp and real cab (cab modelling switched off) or with FRFR using the low and high cut tips on this thread, I really can't see why I'd use anything else from now on, other than for romantic/whimsical reasons.

    I agree - for guitar use I swapped to Helix completely several years ago.
    It's just ace.
