I always felt sorry for the fish in Lethal Weapon 2.
    RIP.

  • I remember him for one line which is unfortunate bearing in mind he probably had a stellar career.  I won’t repeat it as I’m sure you know the 2 words I mean

Ah, thought it may have been "funky backpack". RIP Joss, good innings.
Ten years too late and still getting it wrong

Is it not ‘spunky’? Still, class quote!

I was straining to remember, so it probably is!

Sounds better, though funky backpack has its own charm I suppose.

Great actor with very distinctive voice. First saw him on the stage as peron in evita which has to be 1977ish
Was only watching him in miracle on 34th Street last night

Wonderful voice! He brought great character to his parts.

I just read the Times obituary, which was interesting. Had some tough times, oldest son died from drug overdose, his wife broke her back saving their children from a fire then jumping out of an upper floor window, later she had and died from motor neurone disease.

Apparently he did over 130 films, and believed to have appeared in more stage plays than any other actor.

95 is a darned good innings.
