So SM:tv started when i was 18.  which meant i was most likely watching it at uni on lazy saturday lie ins with my girlfriend.

I must have watched pokemon at that time.  started again last month as an antidote to Dora the explorer and I was truly worried how much of it had stuck in my head

In the 70s we had Bagpuss. Don't bother you tubing it, it hasn't aged well!

Bagpuss, was, like most kids programs in the 70s, weird but enjoyable :D

We have a very Pokemon house, games more these days but tv series, cuddly toys, books, Piplup sticker on my guitar. Although, TBH, I'm not that keen - animated cock fighting.

I liked it. And the first series of Digimon.

I didn't play Pokemon until Emerald came out though.

My sons (in their 20's) still get excited when a new version of the game is release, and they still play Yu-Gi-Oh! card games with other family members.

They don't tell their friends though, would ruin their street cred.
