For sale or trade.  Please read.
 *Updated*

I changed my mind and was going to keep this but I find the knob under the bridge pick up really gets in the way.

Also, the trem isn't keeping tune particularly well. I've been told this indicates some parts may need upgrading/ changing.

I've had the pick ups changed to a new super distortion (bridge) and Liquifire (neck). The original  evolution pickups will be included.
It's had a pro fret dress and hybrid 9 strings recently added.
Electrics work fine.

Given the above and the fact that I'm crap with anything technical/set up wise, I'm not really interested in getting the trem sorted and would rather lower the price accordingly.
so now asking £1800 on here.

1996 Jackson custom USA soloist with the spheres graphic.

Spec wise -
Mahogany body/neck through.
Ebony board
Dimarzio Evolution pick ups (black) - see picture before pick ups swapped to green.
German Schaller JT590.

The guitar is  what I'd describe as good condition -

Ding on the right front edge -see pics - been repaired but noticeable.
Ding on the back near the cavity cover.
There are some light scratches and plenty of swirls on the front and back and neck.  Commensurate with being well played - it's had 25 years plus of use.  No other dings round the edges or headstock.

It still looks great, and none of the above affect the playability in any way.

Has original - if a little battered case - and the original tag and warranty card confirming the J serial number.

Pretty open to trade suggestions (but has to be something I'd want to keep) including:
Kiesel
Ibanez J Custom/Prestige
Charvel USA
Suhr
ESP
Melancon
Luxxtone
Friedman
Fender strat

Can do a little cash either way.
If you are in the area, you ate welcome to view/try.

Based in Lancs, happy to meet up within reason.
Postage may be an option.

Yes - It's most certainly bonkers.  Couldn't resist adding the green pick ups.

That looks incredible but I wouldn't have the balls to play it (sorry!).

No, really, I'm interested. Let me look up the catalogue specs for it.

The nearest Jackson catalogue you will find is 1995. The graphic is listed in there.  There's also a price list on line for that year with some details about the custom stuff.
The guitar is apparently mahogany body/neck which was a custom  option  at the time, as were the pick ups. I also  believe the HH configuration was only available  as a custom option - as all the brochure models were HSS. The only other soloist model I've seen with this graphic had a standard serial and was HSS.  Hence this one has a J (custom shop) serial

*Though if anyone knows differently please feel free to correct me!
