The Morgan Abbey is a classic Class A cathode biased EL84 amplifier in the style of the old British top boost design.

Distinctly different to the AC20 Deluxe, the Abbey offers slightly more gain and compression. It still maintains all of the classic tones that a Class A EL84 amp can deliver but with added tone shaping with individual treble and bass controls as well as a bright switch for even more chime. It's feckin' brilliant.

It's in very good nick after 100+ totally reliable gigs and plenty of studio work. Cover included.

I recommend collection from me or a convenient meeting place; I am not keen on using a courier. You may arrange your own courier at your risk.

I have a Morgan Dual 20 which has an Abbey side, I have just withdrawn it after putting in a Celestion Gold which I had, this has transformed the amp for me. Gigged it this evening, what was I thinking! Sounds superb!  I see yours has a blue which I can imagine sounds even better for this amp! I'm really glad mine didn't sell as I'd forgotten how good it was and can now fortunately afford to keep it. Although I am also wondering how it would sound with a blue! . Had my funds been better I'd be very tempted to get this for a stereo rig. As always great photos  GLWTS.
