No’ steinberger spirit - was originally White with HSS pickup config. Blocked mid/neck pickup routes  -  three way switch’- added mini toggle and also repositioned vol control.

No’ steinberger spirit - was originally White with HSS pickup config.

Oh, some “Proper” mods, nice…

The Höhner was only offered in HH and HSS variants, using DPDT switches for pickup selection. The push-pull tone pot added a bunch of additional passive filtering circuitry to alter the overall sound.

It was the control layout on @LessPaul  s that made me think it was a Hohner G2 (the pots are further back and there is a mini toggle) He did a grand job filling the original middle pickup and original control pot/blade switch holes,…
The volume pot on a Steinberger Sprit is in a terrible place as you hit it when strumming and it gradually goes quiet!…
