not my favourite colour but the main thing that stopped me is the HSS, I am going to give myself some days to see if I find what I want but if not I might be in touch,

I took the pictures and thought “that pedal board needs sorting out”

it has a coil tap in the bridge so you can still get the strat “quack”

I think I had it on at 800 before I decided to keep it, but I would let it go for that as it’s just not getting play time. 

No pressure from me though!!

I have an American Performer Stratocaster. The bodies are all routed HSS. 

+ve It is a simple matter of changing the pickguard to convert to SSS.

-ve Due to the fingerboard extension, raising the pickguard involves unfastening the neck. There is insufficient leeway to slide the assembly far enough towards the bridge.

yes, I have thought about it, but I’d rather don’t spend in extra bridge pickup and pick guard tbh,
if I cannot find one ready for SSS I might consider thought..
