WTB: 1979 strat

After a birth year guitar
Any condition considered as I may refinish 
I know these are heavy but lighter the better!!!

I don’t mind if cased or not/refretred etc as i’d be buying as a long term keeper / player

If the year is critical, don’t rely on the serial number. S9 numbers (which in theory mean it’s a ‘79 guitar) were used into the early 80s.

I’m clearing out at least half of my guitars and have a pair of 79 black Strats, one hardtail and one trem. Both used extensively but the hardtail has done way more gigs… and it shows. The trem version is in its original case inc hang tags and manual with matching serial. I’m on a phone at the moment so struggling to upload pics on here but if you message me, I’m sure I can work something out.

I actually love the look of that and contacted the seller, the weight put me off though..
