Sold - 2019 Gibson Flying V in minty Antique Natural finish

Hi all, 

This time last year, I broke my new year's resolution in record time and acquired this beautiful guitar from the gent that is @rockmonster. A year on and I am aiming to do the reverse and actually act on the resolution to thin the herd. I've sold a Tele and this is the next on the block.

I'd love to keep it in all honesty as it's a belter. I've just accepted that an idle bugger like me who plays at home exclusively, mostly sitting on his ass, is not the correct owner of such a guitar. 

It's in mint condition, weighs less than a feather (under 6.5lbs to be more accurate) and plays bee-oo-tifally. 

I'd like to get back what I paid, which is £1,150 collected or meet up (<2hours from Gatwick). I really, really don't want to post this, sorry: a) it's a Gibson and b) I have just used my only appropriate box to sell the Tele. I will list it for more on Facebook to compensate for dealing with queues of morons and scammers. 

I'm based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, but work in London (City end).

I think it's heavier than you claim. Your scales say 14.30.

From a man of your impeccable taste (and vast guitar-owning pedigree) that’s high praise indeed . I’ve had a decent amount of interest from here and Facebook so hopefully it’ll be in the hands of someone more worthy* soon. 

*Actually I don’t care how worthy the buyer is. I’d even sell it to Donald Trump.

It’s a funny thing when a guitar you previously had no desire for and certainly have no use for, grabs your attention and draws you in. Gotta say I am loving the look of this.

I made the rookie mistake of playing it the other day. It's dreamy, but I'm going to stay strong and it's still for sale.

The V is on hold to someone outside of the forum. The chap is driving down from Kent on Weds to inspect. I'll update the thread if that falls through.

Now sold, paid for and collected. Actually a really interesting bloke who was a proper gent. Very, just very, occasionally selling via F'book works a treat.
