    Sent one in. Yikes......

    Details:

Jackson Pro Dinky (formerly owned by @fastonebaz ) into HX Stomp with a Trainwreck-based preset. Little bit of compression added in Logic Pro.

Approach-wise, basically it was a case of play my normal bluesy shit where I could get away with it, and be more harmonically specific when I couldn't. Did a lot of singing over the tricky bits to find notes I liked before trying to translate into a guitar part.

No real experience of playing in 7/8 - tried to honour the “1” as much as I could!

Mine's in the playlist. The title says it all. It took a lot of working out. Much more composition that improvisation.

My AZ2402 on the neck humbucker, apart from the bass groove section when I switch to the bridge humbucker.

    It's not a competition.

Sent mine in. That is a great backing track and I knew it would be tough taking it on. The track name of mine describes what it did to me  :) I think I might throw a sickie tomorrow to recover.

Used a Tele on Neck position, switched to bridge for Wah parts, maybe bridge on some other bits too, I can't recall, my head is scrambled, Lol. A bit of phaser on some sections too. I could never improvise anything remotely decent over a track like that, so I had to really think that one through.
Only a Fool Would Say That.

Just sent mine in, sorry for the (analogue?) delay.

I hope people won't mind a bit of guitar synth indulgence.
