Fitted to a Strat using a solderless harness to test before going back to my Oil City Stonetone pickups and therefore never soldered and in great condition with cream covers.

What was it about these that made you prefer the Stonetones?

Do you have pics? What colour are the covers, does the bridge have a baseplate, are they staggered and is the middle rw/rp?

The Stonetones were more suited to rock than the Triple Blues and i just preferred them. They are as shipped by Ash...no bridge baseplate and the middle is RW/RP with staggered pole pieces.  Pics to follow...

Thanks for your reply. I got a Stonetone neck from Ash's sale the other day and am considering buying a middle and bridge to go with it. I do find it lacks a bit of treble though so was looking into other options too. I'd want a bridge baseplate, black covers and non-rw/rp though so your set is out for me i'm afraid.
