Narrowed it down I think. Which would you go for?

What's Hot
Howdee all. Not much of an acoustic player these days, but will get a moderately priced one this year once things are looking up for me financially.
Narrowed it down to a Taylor Big Baby (and add a soundhole pickup if it's a regular size), Guild Memoir DS 240, or a Guild M 240E.
Advantage of the Guild 240 is it already has the soundhole pickup. Looking to use some light effects with it, so don't need an AMAZING sound.
I've played the Big Baby Taylor in the past and the example I played was one of the most comfy guitars I've played.

Have you played either of the Guilds?

Did you like the Taylor tone? I've found they have a very distinct sound; very "zingy" compared to the others I played at the time.

For me comfort is important so I'd go for the Taylor in your position if you haven't played the others

I've never come across a bad Guild but I've no great love of Taylor voicing, But it's your money.

I like Guild but I'm a Guild guy. Not played enough Taylors to know. I'd maybe look for a way to try one or both and see what was what.

If I had to buy blind,  I'd go for the Guild - I feel like I'd know what I was getting. If I had tried the Taylor before, I may choose that.

    Does this help?
Ten years too late and still getting it wrong

^^ Don't really know about either, but Taylor has a top notch reputation for quality control...

I went for the Troubadour in the end. Got a nice deal on a used one.
