    Fender
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

Fender, More colours more tone, plus same brand so more mojo.

I kind of like the subdued gray. But both look good.

Not if you're a beginner. You might want to start off with something quite short.

It might look cool when it's long enough to result in the instrument hanging down by someone's knees but it can be very uncomfortable and difficult to control.

    Apparently.

I've always been a fan of the 'up high' style of 60s guitarists like Lennon and Gerry Marsden et al. Having broad shoulders seems to keep the weight away from my lower back. That said I am mostly a sit down pllayer with a shorter strap length anyhow.

I’ve gone for the grey Ernie Ball strap.
All my black guitars have the same grey straps on them.
Im not a fan of that particular Fender strap.
One of the guitar teachers I had as a child used to make me have the guitar up under my chin.
I used to hate it but the guitar was bigger than me .

Plugging in this beast was always an eye watering moment - a commission for erotic artist Julian Murphy back in 2001.

Didn’t mention anything to do with a pickup on the Fender Joe Strummer Campfire .
The Fishman pickup system is excellent though.
I did start this thread about the strap on it.
