Nice and light 8lb 2oz with uncovered zebras for something a little different. Sounds nice in the demo vid, in the hands of "Buffalo Bill"

I've been humming and harring over getting a Gibson Custom 59 for a while, Peach and Coda have some lovely guitars to choose and I was all set on golden poppy burst with regular covered pickups and really wasn't struck on these washed cherry open zebra coil model when Peach got them in but over the last few weeks they have really grown on me with having a little bit of a different look plus 8lb 2oz is too rare a weight to pass up on.

Hoping it's everything I expect when it arrives.

That's rather classy indeed. Those mineral streaks take an already stunning (but not OTT) top, and make it even better.

Welcome to the 8lb 2oz club! My R9 sneaks in at that weight after I swapped the selector plate for the plastic one. Getting the Les Paul experience without feeling it on your back is a game changer.

I really hate heavily flamed tops, but that is a Gibson of balanced loveliness.
