Bjørn Riis has his first solo album coming out in November packed with Floyd inspired guitar tones and songs. He's the guy who runs the Gilmourish website and is the guitarist in the Floyd inspired band Airbag [I have a couple of their albums and they're a good band].

How he gets some tones:

Although perhaps it is always going to come across as derivative (whether that's a good or bad thing) I really like Bjorn, he comes across as a top bloke so best of luck to him.

I'm not a major Gilmour fan compared to many, but I often take a look at Gilmourish because it's so well put together and has a lot of commonsense reviews and advice.

I can't think of many better guitar sites.

Bjorn's album is very good .. plenty of Gilmour style licks and tones. He even autographed my CD .. nice guy.
