Sold - PRS Hollowbody ii core Purple Iris with coil taps reduced to £3,500

A guitar I never thought I’d sell, but some bad influence from @imalrightjack has meant that I’ve managed to find a private stock version and I need to let this go to accommodate. I got this in May 2022 from Peach as a birthday present from the missus.

Peach sent it to the PRS PTC to add coil taps, which cost something daft like £350, but it makes it pretty unique and probably makes it the most versatile guitar on the planet - acoustic, humbucker and singlecoil tones in one guitar, all with the general versatility of PRS’s take on a 335. 

The colour is really beautiful and the now discontinued Purple Iris, which has been replaced with purple mist. Great top and back on this.
In genuinely as new condition - it still has the original strings on it. I don’t know why I’ve not played it loads - every time I pick it up I think “wow” but I guess that’s the issue with having too many guitars.

For those who have tried the se version (which are good for the money) - these are different construction, tone and a class above. No laminate here

Pricing at an almost £2,000 haircut at £3,750. You can collect from Chatham, I can post or we can meet. Everyone who buys a guitar off me knows I’m really fussy and the guitars I get are great examples of their type. This is one such guitar.

That is a fine looking instrument. About £3500 above my budget at the moment. GLWTS.

He certainly does. I’ve been sworn off PRS for many years but recently had to buy one of Chris’s old ones that he’d brought round a couple of years before to tempt me with!
