Didn't fancy a new one with a warranty then?

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

What they call "Well loved" condition and I like 6V6s much more than EL84s. Very tough bottles...could be original!

    They are.

    chart says 5E9-A but believe it’s a 5G9

Tsk. Replaced power cable. Where's the fun in having an original vintage amp if you're not risking your life when you plug into it?

I bet that cost more than my car.

For the record I have never spent more than £6500 on a car.

In regard to what I've spent on a Bass, I plead the 5th.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

  • I play a 5G9 clone, it’s a gorgeous amp. It loves alnico but it looks like you’ve got that covered already. Enjoy!
I’d love to exchange overdrive experiences once you’ve lived with the amp for a while.

I breadboarded a 5g9 but without the trem once. Thought it was nicer sounding and more versatile than a 5e3 tweed deluxe. That one looks awesome.

I understand the trem is pretty knockout too. I keep thinking i should return to that circuit.

One simply would not consider buying anything from a random tradesperson with such a frightfully unkempt lawn.
Still, the nouveau riche & their money are easily parted... :-D

Enjoy the holiday & the amp  ;)
