Hello all!

I'm back with another cover! This one is my version of 'Out on the Western Plain' - This song is in DADGAD tuning, which has been great fun to noodle in!

I've also been experimenting with ways of picking up the sound from my Resonator, what you are hearing in this recording is a blend between the K&K pickup and a very cheap MXL 990 Mic - the pickup is a little glassy but overall I'm getting happier with the tone.

Long time since I heard Rory’s version but I really enjoyed that. Nice to hear a resonator used for something that isn’t Delta blues slide stuff, it’s a distinctive sound that doesn’t get used much.
