I picked up this semi a while ago! It was in a terrible state - years of grime that didn’t really encourage me to want to clean it up! 

Well tonight, I scraped of the shit and what lies beneath ain’t half bad! It doesn’t have a name on it or any labels, so I thought ‘who do I know that might be able to identify this anonymous beauty?’ 

Heres some pics - guessing that the headstock will be the biggest clue. It does have an unfortunate Celtic design in what looks like the medium of Sharpie - anyone know how to remove Sharpie ink from a guitar body?

    Lighter petrol will remove permanent marker. Put some on a cloth and rub it. Acousty MacSemiacoustiface would suit it as a name.

    The head and body shapes are very similar to some versions of the Peerless Renaissance, so it may have come from the same factory.
