    It isn’t an Aria.
Could it be a Luna? The headstock shape is very similar.

Looks to me like a ‘63 Gibson 335, with genuine PAFs. Once belonged to JoBo but he got into a feud with his neighbours who then stole it and fenced it through a local Cash Generator.

It depends, what does it identify itself as? I would probably ask it before removing its makeup.

Is the neck a bolt on or glued in? It looks like quite a decent little semi acoustic, I’ve no idea who built it but with a bit of care and attention it could be a nice instrument ,I’d be interested to know what the pickups sound like.

It’s a very neat set neck! It does look very well made! Pickups don’t have anything to signify brand but I will post a quick review once strung up! The tuners are remarkably smooth and high(?) geared (turn a lot for small adjustment - is that high gear/ratio?)

Thats what she is then, to be fair she could have been a 1994 ford Escort Gia.

It looks a lot like an early 70s MIJ Epiphone. Is the neck bolt on?

I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

Lighter petrol will remove permanent marker. Put some on a cloth and rub it. Acousty MacSemiacoustiface would suit it as a name.

I thought you were going to say hold a match to it - that would do the trick!

(Perhaps it could then be a Burny...)

The 'issue' with many far east builders, is they will a) make the same guitar for various distributors/dealers throughout the world - Some brand names more established than others, but some might be for say a UK distributor and hence that brand name is generally only seen in the UK - B ) Sometimes various models are sent out as a 'prototype' for evaluation, to various distributors, with hopefully an order to follow - That might explain it having no name

So can't help as to what name it would have been shipped with, if indeed it ever was - But it does have the 'characteristics' of many generic models that various UK companies handled
