FS - 1956 ES175D
Amazing ES175D from 1956. Have had this one a long time, not looking forward to the day it goes, but trying to get down to just a few guitars. Plays beautifully and sounds incredible, tones right off an old jazz record. Everything exactly as it should be, no breaks or damage, just all the honest wear you want to see on a great guitar that has been loved/played.
All original besides a very high quality custom made replica pickguard, replaced as old one warped as they usually do, and also an exceptional refret carried out about 10yrs ago by one of the community’s most notorious villains from the NE of England. So talented though, better than any plek job I have seen so the playability is a step above most vintage guitars.
Lovely brazilian fretboard and bridge, perfect chunky neck profile, without being too much. The P90’s (and all electrics) are completely original and untouched, and sound absolutely glorious. And this really isn’t just a jazz box, it’s a total rock machine if you need it to be, if you’ve played one into a cooking amp you will know what I mean.

Not a bad idea to park some money in something you can enjoy and is very likely to keep going up in value!
