I'm starting to think that the OP does know who Ian Lavender is , especially as they keep misquoting his catchphrase.  Is this like some bizarre grab for FB likes,or the tFB equivalent. 

Btw shouldn't the phrase be "Don't tell him, Pike." meaning Pike, do not tell him, as opposed to "Don't tell him Pike" which means do not tell him pike (where pike may be some 40s slang for "anything").
