Bit shocked to hear that Willy died suddenly at the end of January. 

Willy was a wonderful singer and very able guitarist. Founder member of Bees Make Honey and Meal Ticket, he’d been performing with his own band The Hurters most lately as well as collaborating often with the West London crew of Mickey Moody, Papa George etc etc. 
RIP.

That's a shame - I remember him from Mealticket, they were a terrific band - Ray Flacke and Steve Simpson - and he was a great singer and the perfect front man.  Saw them several times back in the 70s.

Likewise. One of my favourite bands of that period. Great vocals from Willie and Steve Simpson. I can’t believe he’s gone.
