F/S Gartone 5e3 Bluesman. Possible trades. Price drop £1900. Now Traded.
I've owned this amp for around 6 years and I've only used it at home and mainly as a pedal platform, It's in lovely condition and looks nearly like new and it’s always been very well looked after.
The amp was serviced by Martin 2 yrs ago, he replaced the Mercury transformer with a new Mercury and changed the speaker for a new Celestion Alnico cream for more headroom and warmth.
I put a new set of valves in late last year including a set of Golden lion Genalex 6v6gt.
This is one of Martins early builds with the finest components and using the late Larry Rodgers Antique pine cabinets, I think it's one of ten.
I'm just a bedroom guitarist and this amp is just to much for my needs.
I will include a couple of sets of valves.
Any questions ask.

£2000. Now £1900.

Dominic in particular raves about them and he's had a lot of top amps !
One thing that truly amazes me (and I'm not a believer in 'guitar tone-woods' etc is the cab...I don't know if its the Antique pine or just a sweet spot in dimensions but these amps do not have reverb in the design ....however if you crank it up it produces it's own reverb from the reonance of the cab .......it's not huge and cavernous but it's certainly noticeable and at the very least spreads the sound as if it comes from a huge 4x12 cabinet.
I have some oversize 2x12 cabs and even a big ported Port City cab and it still sounds bigger
There's been a lot of interest from perspective buyers on Reverb but the amp is still here.
