Andrew Masters is nice, I've used it a few times.
For synth stuff, Alex Ball has a good collection

Steven Slate is excellent, but it is a vst, not plugins.  But sound wise it is great and has a free version to try.

  • You used to be able to get them on the front of a magazine on a DVD! I used some for an album. Worked quite well.

Not cheap, but NS Kit (now Natural Drum Kit) has a huge amount of samples with articulation, brushes, mallets, and sticks. So decent value, just not at all cheap.

Thanks everyone. I got some more when I bought the full Trigger 2 and quickly realised it's more about knowing what to do with them than the individual samples...
    As with everything..
