I fancy one of these - great colour, no weight relief, ebony neck. Oh, and I’m a big fan of his.  Impressions please!

Bough one last year and its great, well made, well finished ( it has stayed on ) and it plays well. The only thing for my tastes I had to change the pickups. The neck was really weedy and the bridge far too harsh, so It has a set of BK Cold Sweat in it now but still looks the same.

I think you're right.  Presumably there'll be cheaper versions of the V at some point too.

I nearly bought the Epiphone with the Bee on it a few weeks ago for a really good price but changed my mind.

I played one in coda last year and really liked it. Ebony board is sweet and the bridge pickup is great

Yeah the ebony board on a standard is just really tempting.

Yea he's good, and I'm a big fan of Tool but I don't see how he's popular enough to need so many really so it's strange they have so many models. Maybe they're selling well regardless?

I agree, we definitely need more Slash signatures.

I think it's probably just popular because it's a silverburst which I think hasn't been offered for a while? I don't really get Tool (too much boring filler and slow/meandering songs for me) but I like a nice silverburst, though I'd prefer proper silver/grey as opposed to the aged green version. More interesting than yet another Slash signature too.
