WTB: PRS Swamp Ash Studio
What's Hot
Not many of these around and I fancy trying one. Looking at one on Reverb but it's a bit spendy so trying here to see if anyone has one lying around unloved?
note: I'm specifically interested in the "swamp ash studio", i.e. humbucker with two narrowfields, and maple neck/fretboard.
Not after the "swamp ash special" or "studio". Not yet anyway...

it was “player’s grade” but didn’t look too bad and was only £1,699 delivered.
I've no problem with "player grade" if that's reflected in the price.
Thanks+++. That's the one I'm looking at but it has some damage, and Id be hoping for mint at that price.
I'm not 100% sure what the going rate is for these? They're hardly the most popular PRS model and I can get a new Silver Sky for £1799: I do know I'd have snapped up the Music Street one at £1699 in an instant.
I bought 2 in 2022 for around £1k-£1200 2nd hand, they've probably increased to around £1400 or more in shops 2'd hand.
I think you're bang on about "dentist" tops. A good few years back I sold a 1987 vintage yellow flame CU24 at way over my asking price, and I could have sold it a zillion times over. In contrast, a seafoam green DGT I had was very difficult to move - no bling.

Korina body (painted) but having had both I can say it betters a Swamp Ash Studio in every way
In fact it is the perfect cross between a Silver Sky and a DGT and has a great neck shape
Full size neck humbuckers have never worked for me (even on the DGT) - I find them far too fat / woman tone sounding.
