Common placeholder listing used to get something listed before a fees offer expires on a Monday midnight.

Any old photo will do (i.e. one stored on a phone/pc) and someone will write the description later.

Given the normal eBay fees are a total rip off and times are hard for folk - I don't begrudge anyone to do this providing the title gives you a rough idea, sure it looks weird and it's clutter, but it takes approx 1 second to scroll past, and most folks do actually need the cash from selling, so they do update the listings.

    What he said.

Check that seller's other items. It is likely that all of the place holder listings end within a few minutes of each other. Bunching the end times closely together means that they can all be dealt with on the same evening.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

Ahh, ok. Not being wise in the ways of ebay selling, I didn't realise this was a thing.
