Burst Believer books...any good?

I'm really rediscovering the whole Gibson Les Paul 'burst thing again, since I got my Gibson Custom '59 Les Paul in January. I already have Beauty Of The Burst but just pulled there trigger on all 6 volumes of the Burst Believer books

Anyone read them?

Not cheap but I'm getting all a bit YOLO in the year before I retire from work!

After initial doubts, I'm really loving the new R9, I get it sounding really fat, warm, thick and loud much to my wife's dismay

I see Dave Plues at various guitar shows with his collection and his books - The only thing that has stopped me buying one is that I probably then need to buy all 6 - And I’m not excited enough to do that - I’ve scanned through the odd page or two and they do look full of info - How definitive they are then I’m not sure

But enjoy them and update me/us later
