Dell backup and recovery question

We both have dell laptops and we seem to be having lots of trouble with the above when it does an automatic download, even though neither of us actually us dell back up (to my knowledge). Basically, it clogs up the laptops when it does the download, something called toaster I think it is. Does anyone know if it is safe to remove this program?

    It's call Toast and you can remove it .. it backup software made by Roxio.

    Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!
