I have a Fuzzdog clone built by Lee at Fuzzdog (aka someone who knows what they're doing!) I keep meaning to put it up for sale as it's a great pedal that's surplus to my requirements. Yours for £50 plus postage if you're keen.

King tone and peanuts don't really go together

Having owned a Blues Power twice in the past, I say get a Benson Preamp!

@Majorscale I've owned a Bluespower, which I sold and am considering buying again. Why do you prefer the Benson?

@ryanverbena - I did directly A/B them so I can be clear about the winner, although it was a while ago now so some aspects may have slipped my mind. The Benson Preamp just has more clarity/sparkle/presence and does something wonderful to your tone. It can also go from an EQ to Boost to Drive to Fuzz so covers a huge tonal range. The way I currently use one on my live gigboard is as a tone sweetener / light EQ that punches me through the busy band mix. The first time I used it live our drummer said he heard details in my playing that he hadn't hear before!
