Adverts on TFB mobile site

What happened?

Yesterday there was a pretty unobtrusive advert at the top of the page and another at the bottom.

Today there are big adverts all over the place, to the point where the site is pretty hard to look at.

Anyone else experienced this?

Yep, big ads after every couple of posts in some threads, and even in the middle of a quote here:

Oh, FFS. That should be sorted now - AdSense decided to start running an "experiment" with banner ads on here, without any notification or warning.

I've killed it, with prejudice. Apologies!

On the mobile version of this site, I block ads using an app, imaginatively titled AdBlocker.

The joys of Adsense experiments... I keep having to kill those things, as they take over a site if left unattended.

You know that "warm feeling" is probably something else, don't you?

On a sort of related point about adverts..., If for example you had a forum where people wanted to support the site, but were too tight to pay.(me) would the forum software allow you to have a page(s) or sub-forum section that consisted completely of adverts ? That way, people could every now and then look at that page if they so desired and support the site. Keep the normal unobtrusive adverts, But for a bit extra support etc.

Just an idea.
