Been an on-off fan of Billy since early 80s and he puts on a good show, so I was pleased to get a ticket for the tour next week.
Saw him 9 years ago and it was a cracking good show, but hadn't listened to him for a while.

I took the plunge and bought his new album after listening to a recent long interview with Steve Stevens and it's possibly the best album he's done since Rebel Yell - sounds like a natural progression.

Also saw a couple of great live clips from Jimmy Kimmel show and they were great , so getting a ticket was a must do....

New track from the current CD

And as good as ever : Rebel Yell

Billy is 59 going on 60 (Steve Stevens is 55)

Yeah I know not everyone's taste musically, but seem to be delivering the goods which is good to see.

Hate going to see an older band I like only to see that they should have retired or stayed retired (Kiss are a good example)

Steve will have lots of guitars
Mainly Les Pauls , Knaggs custom, Suhr strat types, Godin and some nice acoustics too.

  • I can never work out if I like his stuff or not.

I think I'd love to see him live though. He doesn't look like he's ready to retire yet :)

Well the gig was good, but Billy's singing was poor on the slower numbers where he couldn't yell it out. Steve Stevens was good, but seems heavily flamenco influenced at the moment. But the hits were great!

Steve has always been very flamenco, and his live solo tends to be a flamenco workout for the most part

Glad the gig was good though...
