NGD! Fender player strat Floyd

Hurrah! NGD a few days ago, I’ve bought a 2019 white fender player Strat with Floyd, one HB and two SC 

I want to make a mick mars replica so I’ve ordered replacement black HB and black single coil covers, a red tort pick guard and plan to rad relic details however because it’s a poly finish I’m thinking relic’ing the finish won’t be as good as stripping the poly and replacing with nitro and doing it that way

Kinda scared, to be honest more than scared of relicing it but I want that mick mars looking guitar!

think I’ve watched every YouTube video on stripping it, seems best to use an orbital sander than using paint stripper etc 

excited nut terrified lol 

btw this plays lovely, has 10’s on it, the Floyd special,stays in tune and is floating, the neck feels great, similar to my 2019 player buttercream
