You cannot seriously expect the staff of Crack Converters to go to the trouble of unboxing the (alleged) bass guitar to take photographs of it.

My first thought was ‘probably nicked from someone’s doorstep or porch’
A friend of mine would go apeshit if he were to read your comment.

Last week, a delivery driver from a supposedly reliable and trustworthy courier firm left £1k's worth of boxed electric guitar outside the door of my friend's flat. Didn't even bother to knock on the flat door. (My friend was in the flat, waiting for the delivery!)

Sometimes get a decent bargain though. I went for a nosey last week and came home with a mint condition  Burgundy Mist Affinity Jazzmaster for ... £60! Bartered them down from a starting price of £80.

Next to it was a crappy Westfield battered looking strat for £150 so who knows where they get their pricing.

This made me chuckle a little. “Did you say Paul Reed Smith?” - “No, I did not”.

    I'm looking for some monitors.

My mate often checks out his local Cash Converters as they sometimes have weird and wonderful musical instruments that he is happy to take off their hands.

They had a set of studio monitors, so he messaged me.

They wanted more than it would cost for a brand new pair, of the same monitors.

    Bizarre

I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin

But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to

As far as I understand most of all the Cash Converters stores are franchised, and I have heard it said that a significant number of the francisees do not speak English as their first language.  That may account for the odd way the items is described.

Crack Converters price seems reasonable....considering it's stolen goods.
