To clarify, owning and gigging both 7.25 and 9.5 radii Jazzmasters interchangeably for a decade, they're essentially the same in operation and I personally don't feel there's a huge difference. I don't adjust the way I play in any way. I don't notice bends fretting out but then I don't have ultra low action nor bend over two notes sharp very often if ever.
Am certain some with a more refined playing style will notice but it's not a night and day thing. If the biggest issue is bends fretting out then it's not a huge issue imo (and hence the Hendrix comparison - any of the great Strat players who uses bends could have been cited!)
Then I played a core Silver Sky and fell in love with it; I only "remembered" about the vintage radius after about 10 minutes of playing. Felt fine from the off.
I have it set up to PRS standard specs and it doesn't choke at all, including those big Gilmour bends (TM). I love it.
Agree 100% with those that have said it's those skinny, tiny vintage frets that are responsible for much of the beef. I had a Tokai strat back in the day that I thought was very comfortable because I could barely feel the frets. However, once I got a bit better, trying to "get under" the string and bend on that was a nightmare, which was solved by higher frets.
What is neck radius anyway, necks aren't circles?!

Don't get me wrong, it's ok to ask questions. But I'm not sure my preferences for 9,5 and 7,25 (I don't really like flat radii) would suit your playing style.

In the late 1980s I was in Roger Giffin Guitars in Kew Bridge and either Roger or Stuart Monks told me that before a Pink Floyd tour around then Dave Gilmour’s tech had brought in half a dozen brand new AVRI Strats to have the neck radiuses flattened and bigger frets fitted. If you’re regularly doing three and four step bends like DG and want an acceptable playing action, it is always going to be more achievable with a 9.5” rather than a 7.25” radius, and of course bigger frets.
They feel very different but both are great.
As others have said, the 7.25 will choke out on big bends but other than that, it's lovely.
I had a 9.5" radius Strat in the past and it was a pretty happy medium. It will feel different to 7.25" though.
I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to
